I don't know about you, but this hit me hard. I've been told on more than one occasion to stop apologizing. For which I usually apologize for apologizing so often.

As women, we tend to apologize for everything. This commercial shows that so clearly. We apologize when we have a question. We apologize when we need something. We apologize when someone bumps into us in the hallway. We apologize for things that aren't our fault.

And y'all, it's time to stop apologizing! That doesn't mean you need to be rude, of course. Say thank you, say excuse me, say please. But unless you are actually in the wrong, just skip the "I'm sorry".

Stop apologizing when it isn't needed. Ask your questions. Speak up when you need something.
