For all you Americans out there, Happy 4th of July! To everyone else, happy Friday!

I could go all patriotic on you, but since I did that for Memorial Day I'll go pop culture today. What do you think of when your hear Independence Day? There are two totally different things I think of.

The first is the Martina McBride song. It's sad and empowering all at once. If you've never heard it, check it out.

And the second is obviously the classic movie with Will Smith and Bill Pullman. (I'm playing fast and loose with the term classic, but really, the movie almost 20 years old now.) If this movie is on TV, I'm watching it. I mean, how can you not?

Either way, it's Independence Day, y'all! Make it a good one :)
