Earlier this week a friend sent me the link to Shonda Rhimes's commencement speech. For those of you who don't know who she is, she is the creative genius behind Greys Anatomy and Scandal. And she gave a heck of a speech at Dartmouth's commencement ceremony this year.

She shared some amazing bits of wisdom.

"Ditch the dream and be a doer, not a dreamer."

"Anyone who tells you they are doing it all perfectly is a liar."

"Don't be an asshole."

That last one was an actual line from her speech, and I think it is wonderful. Because some people do need that reminder...though I'm sure no one reading this post does, right?
