Twitterature is here again! I didn't read quite as many this month, mostly because I was too busy devouring the second and third books in the Outlander series. But I should have quite a few to share next link-up. I'll tell you why later this week :)

This is the second installment of the Outlander series. It was such a great follow up to the first, creating twists and turns you don't see coming. I love seeing the different parts of history in these books! But this one can be heart wrenching too, and if you do read it, be sure you have the next one on hand because I promise you will pick it up immediately after finishing Dragonfly. This was the book that I finished while crying on the kitchen floor... $4.99 for Kindle

I wasn't quite as taken with this one, mostly because Dragonfly ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and Voyager doesn't quite pick up where it left off! I may have skipped quite a bit of this book to see what happened, and then went back to the beginning again. I know all the stuff I didn't quite care for comes into play down the road, so it is there for a reason. (It's kind of like the Chamber of Secrets. My least favorite book but it made much more sense once you'd read the rest of the books.) I did feel like this book ended in a way that I could take some time before starting the next one so I'm forcing myself to read some other books in between. Otherwise I get way too sucked into the Outlander world. $4.99 for Kindle

The stories of these women were interesting, but it wasn't a well written book. It jumped from story to story, feeling very disjointed. But it was a quick little read and I learned some interesting information about the women behind those famous astronauts. Apparently the CW is turning the book into a TV series - I think that has some great potential. The book would be very adaptable to a series format. $9.99 for the Kindle, but I'd check your library for this one

I picked this up from the library because I'd heard it was similar to Gone Girl. Honestly, I don't think it was anything like Gone Girl, other than being a little creepy. It is by Dutch writer Herman Koch, so it is a translation. I didn't love it. It has an interesting format, taking place over the course of a dinner with flashbacks telling most of the story. Worth the read, but if you haven't read Gone Girl, I'd read that one first. $4.99 for Kindle

I finally finished Attachments! It was good, maybe one of my favorite Rainbow Rowell books. It had an ending that is more in line with how I think books should end (no spoilers) but it still has the same feel of other Rowell books. If you like her stuff, you'll like this one. If you've never read her, give this one a shot. It's an interesting take on a love story, plus it's fun to remember all the panic about Y2K :) $9.51 for Kindle - it's been on sale for under $4.99 before, so maybe wait until it goes on sale again

And that's it for this month! I'm currently working on a quite few books, and I have more stacked up waiting. Dark Places by Gillian Flynn, My Life in France by Julia Child, and several others. I can't wait to tell you all about them!
